Bruce Morton
Harry (Bruce) Morton holds an Hon. BSc (Physics) and a B.Ed. He briefly taught high school physics, then spent over 30 years working in industry. Following the death of his father, Bruce made three trips to the Second World War battlefields of Europe, where his father fought with the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment. He published One Hundred Years and its French equivalent, Cent Ans, in 2021. The books have been adopted as textbooks for grade 12 history courses in New Brunswick. In 2023, Bruce published Soldiers, a collection of 200 biographies of soldiers that served with the regiment. Bruce has also written articles for the Juno Beach Centre, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and The Canadian Encyclopedia. He hosts the Facebook page "North Shore New Brunswick Regiment Research."
