Affaires, Les, the main French-language business newspaper in Canada, was founded in 1928. A Saturday full-colour tabloid, it has a circulation of about 88 000, mainly in Québec. It is published by Transcontinental Publications Inc. The publisher of Les Affaires is Michael Lord; Jean-Paul Gagné is editor in chief. Les Affaires is noted for its coverage of large Canadian corporations, medium and small Québec companies, Canadian economics and public affairs. It devotes half of its content to personal finances and investment, with a wide variety of specialized pages, tables and graphs.
