R. Reeves

Randall Reeves is a marine mammal expert. He received his PhD in geography from McGill University in 1993 and has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and books, most of them concerning whales, dolphins or porpoises. Reeves has chaired the IUCN Species Survival Commission’s Cetacean Specialist Group since 1997 and currently also chairs the Committee of Scientific Advisors for the Maryland-based Marine Mammal Commission. Reeves lives in Hudson, Quebec where he and his wife operate a consulting partnership called Okapi Wildlife Associates.
