Peter Soroye
Peter Soroye is a conservation biologist and science communicator based in Ontario. Since 2021, he has worked with Wildlife Conservation Society Canada’s Key Biodiversity Area program, leading outreach and engagement for the program and coordinating the technical assessment for species-based KBAs. Peter completed a PhD at the University of Ottawa, where his research focused on the effects of climate change and land-use change on pollinators, and the use of community science for conservation research. Outside of work, Peter enjoys camping, basketball, photography and uploading photos of weird bugs to iNaturalist.
