Peter G. Ramsden
Peter G. Ramsden is a Canadian archeologist who worked at McMaster University for 25 years. His research interests focused on the Saint Lawrence Iroquoian, early Inuit (Thule) culture and the Paleo-Inuit in the Central Canadian Arctic. He was also an early pioneer in the field of archeological consulting. His wide-ranging academic career also examined analysis of Wendat (Huron) ceramics, Mesolithic and Neolithic settlements in Ireland, and the Paleo-Inuit and early Inuit (Thule) cultures in the Eastern Subarctic. He is a specialist in the early and proto-contact history of the Saint Lawrence Iroquoian culture.
