Jenny Peng
Jenny C. H. Peng is a Canadian writer of Taiwanese descent. She began her career as a journalist at Vancouver’s largest community newspaper and went on to freelance for international outlets, including the Taipei Times and Deutsche Welle. She later joined Metro News and became one of the founding reporters at Star Vancouver, the Vancouver bureau of the Toronto Star, which was renowned for its exceptionally diverse and exclusive coverage of Metro Vancouver.
Peng has worked across print journalism, television, and documentary filmmaking. Raised in both British Columbia and Quebec, she tells stories that spotlight ordinary people doing extraordinary things, using storytelling as a catalyst for social change. Guided by a strong commitment to public service, she is now pursuing a career in politics.
