Ruth DyckFehderau

Ruth DyckFehderau is an award-winning writer and educator. She writes books for the James Bay Cree of Northern Quebec, and she is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. She has written I (Athena), a novel published by NeWest Press, as well as two nonfiction books with James Bay Cree storytellers: E nâtamukw miyeyimuwin: Residential School Recovery Stories of the James Bay Cree, Volume 1 (more volumes forthcoming) and The Sweet Bloods of Eeyou Istchee: Stories of Diabetes and the James Bay Cree. She lives in Edmonton with her partner.
