Charles A. Bishop
Charles A. Bishop was an ethnographer-ethnohistorian and a professor of anthropology with the State University of New York at Oswego. He was also the editor of the academic journal Ethnohistory. As an anthropologist, Bishop researched the cultures of Ojibwe people and Eastern Woodlands Indigenous peoples. He is best known as the author of The Northern Ojibwa and the fur trade : an historical and ecological study, published in 1974.
