Patricia Snell, soprano (born 30 June 1927 in Leamington, near Windsor, ON; died 24 July 2021 in Toronto, ON).
Career Highlights
Patricia Snell studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music, was a member in 1949 of Herman Geiger-Torel's tour party “Opera Backstage.” She sang with the Canadian Opera Company until 1960, where her roles included Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte (1953), Gilda in Rigoletto (1954), Violetta in La Traviata (1955), Elvira in Don Giovanni (1956), and Rosina in The Barber of Seville (1959).
Personal Life
Patricia Snell was married to the conductor and pianist George Crum.
