Richard Pierpoint: Heritage Minute

This learning tool complements Historica Canada’s Richard Pierpoint Heritage Minute by exploring his life and the experiences and contributions of Black soldiers in the War of 1812. This learning tool is made possible with generous support from the Government of Canada.

The War of 1812 bicentennial offers Canadians an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the role played by Black Loyalists during that conflict.
