Justin Szechy

Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Justin Szechy moved to the United States at an early age with his family. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Eastern Michigan University, and upon return to Canada completed his Master of Arts degree in History from Western University (Ontario). Szechy's graduate thesis compared German military strategy to that of the British and Americans during the Second World War. He has also researched Canadian and American veterans of the world wars. Szechy has worked with historical societies to organize and edit their photographs, articles and websites and is a factchecker with The Canadian Encyclopedia.
