Hilary Russell
Hilary Russell has a BA in women’s studies. Among other publications, she has contributed to the Dictionary of Canadian Biography. She has written scholarly articles for British Columbia Provincial Museum, including: “Canadian Ways” (1984), “Reflections of an Image Finder: Some Problems and Suggestions for Picture Researchers” (1984), and “Training, Restraining and Sustaining: Infant and Child Care in the Late 19th Century” (1985). She has also written for Parks Canada, National Historic Parks and Sites Research Division. She published All that Glitters: A Memorial to Ottawa’s Capital Theatre and its Predecessors (1975).
