Cody Groat

Cody Groat is an assistant professor at Western University. His research focuses on the federal commemoration of Indigenous history from 1919 to present. He holds a Master of Arts in World Heritage Studies from the University of Birmingham, UK and a PhD in history from Wilfrid Laurier University. Groat is Mohawk from the Six Nations of the Grand River reserve in southwestern Ontario.
