Mr. Émile Arsenault is a French Canadian Korean War veteran born on the Prince Edward Island. Having enlisted in Toronto in August 1950 shortly after the beginning of the War, he was quickly transferred to the 2nd Battalion of Le Royal 22e Régiment for training. He went overseas with that unit for the period of 1951-1952.
