Douglas Hunter

Douglas Hunter was a finalist for the National Business Book Award for Double Double, his book on Tim Hortons. He is also the author of The Race to the New World: Christopher Columbus, John Cabot and a Lost History of Discovery, as well as The Bubble and the Bear, a book about the rise and fall of Nortel and winner of the National Business Book Award. Doug has been a finalist for the Writer’s Trust Non-Fiction Prize and the Governor General’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction. He holds a PhD in history from York University and lives in Port McNicoll, Ontario.
