Patricia (Grant Lewis) Elliott. Pianist, teacher, b Regina 9 Apr 1930; ATCM 1946. Patricia Elliott was a pupil of Lubka Kolessa 1947-9 and Boris Roubakine 1949-50. She taught at the Hamilton Conservatory (Royal Hamilton College of Music) 1951-7 and was appointed to the staff of Mount Allison University in 1957. She performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the CBC Symphony Orchestra and many other Canadian orchestras and gave numerous solo and chamber music recitals on the CBC, throughout Canada, in the US, England, and Germany. After 1984 she was active mainly as an accompanist. Her husband was the choir conductor and composer Carleton Elliott.
