Edna Little (m Knock). Choir conductor, teacher, b Fredericton 29 Feb 1928, B MUS (Brandon) 1976, M MUS (Toronto) 1983. She studied education and voice at McGill University, and piano at the CMQ. She earned a certificate in Orff from the RCMT, and one in the Kodály method from the Kodály Musical Training Institute (USA). She conducted church and school choirs, directed CBC junior school music broadcasts in the Maritimes, and was a member of the Montreal Bach Choir before teaching 1969-90 at the School of Music and Faculty of Education at Brandon University. She wrote three educational series, 'Sight Skills,' produced by CBC TV for use in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and a memoir of her brother George. Knock was also music director of St Matthews church in Brandon. She was an honorary member of the Kodály Society of Canada.
