Canadian Business Review, The, established in 1974, was a quarterly published by the Conference Board of Canada from its headquarters in Ottawa. With a circulation of about 8000, it fulfilled the same role in Canada as the board's US magazine, Across the Board, did in that country. The Canadian Business Review ceased publication in 1996.

The Canadian Business Review included pro and con discussions of economic questions, but its most distinctive feature was a quarterly survey of economic forecasts of the major Canadian banks and investment houses. The average of these forecasts, published in the review, was usually taken as the consensus view of Canada's economic future over the next year or so. The Canadian Business Review accepted no advertising and was funded mainly by the more than 700 associates (members) of the Conference Board of Canada, a list that included corporations, government departments and labour unions.
