Robert Allen Curtola, CM, singer, songwriter (born 17 April 1943 in Port Arthur, ON; died 4 June 2016 in Edmonton, AB). Bobby Curtola emerged as a teen idol and dominated the Canadian pop chart in the 1960s. His string of hit singles, including “Fortune Teller” (1962), dominated the Canadian singles chart from 1960 to 1967 and sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. Curtola was one of the first Canadians to receive a multi-million-dollar contract to perform in Las Vegas. He also helped raise millions of dollars for charities as a host of various telethons. He was a Member of the Order of Canada, the RPM Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He was posthumously inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2019.

Marjo, née Marjoléne Morin, singer, songwriter (b at Montréal, 2 Aug 1953). Best described as "une rockeuse," smokey-voiced Marjo is the most powerful woman in Québec rock. After brief stints as a secretary, model and actress, Marjo landed a small role in a musical revue and realized her calling.

Michel Pagliaro, singer, songwriter (b at Montréal, 9 Nov 1948). Simply known as "Pag," Pagliaro was Québec's undisputed king of rock. Throughout the 1970s, he reigned supreme with a string of French and English hits and became the first Canadian artist to earn gold records in both languages.

Mitsou, born Mitsou-Miel-Rioux Gélinas, singer, actress (b at Loretteville, Qué 1 Sept 1970). The granddaughter of famed producer and actor Gratien GÉLINAS and daughter of actor Alain Gélinas, Mitsou was introduced to show business at an early age and was a child actress on Québec TV soaps.

Roch Voisine. Singer-songwriter, actor, radio and TV host (born 26 March 1963 in Edmundston, NB). He first pursued a career in hockey (with the Remparts in Quebec City) that came to an end when he hurt his knee at 18.

Andrew MacMillan. Bass-baritone, stage director, b Glasgow 22 Nov 1914, d Toronto 7 Feb 1967. His family moved to Canada ca 1916 and settled in Montreal where, at 17, he began studies with Finlay Campbell. In the 1930s he sang in light opera and oratorio productions in Montreal.

Bernie LaBarge (b Bernard Leo Labarge). Guitarist, songwriter, singer, b Ottawa 11 March 1953. LaBarge attended school in Burlington, Ont; he began to teach himself guitar at age 11, and by 1967 was playing professionally.
