Their fourth album, Stunt (1998), sold more than 4 million copies in the United States and yielded the No. 1 hit song “One Week.” Known for their comedic lyrics and quirky alternative rock sound, the Barenaked Ladies were ranked No. 13 on CBC Music’s list of 100 Best Canadian Bands. They have won eight Juno Awards, including three for Best Group, and were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2018.
Baroque Trio of Montreal/Trio baroque de Montréal. Formed in 1955 by Melvin Berman (oboe), Mario Duschenes (flute and recorder), and Kelsey Jones (harpsichord and organ) to perform works chiefly of the baroque period.
Blackie & The Rodeo Kings was initially conceived in 1996 as a tribute act to singer-songwriter Willie P. Bennett. By renewing interest in Bennett and other Canadian songwriters, Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson believed they would also gain a wider audience for their solo careers.
Crash Test Dummies. A folk-rock band formed in Winnipeg around 1985, the Crash Test Dummies initially played acoustic cover versions of songs by such rock and folk-pop artists as Alice Cooper and the Roches, at the Blue Note Café.
Active since 2002, Malajube is an indie rock band from Quebec consisting of Julien Mineau (vocals, guitar), Francis Mineau (vocals, drums, percussion, guitar), Thomas Augustin (vocals, keyboard) and Mathieu Cournoyer (bass). With four studio albums in their discography, this Montreal group (several members of which are originally from Sorel-Tracy) has won several Félix Awards and a Juno Award for Francophone Album of the Year (2012).
Anvil. Heavy metal band, formed in 1978 in Toronto and consisting of guitarist-vocalist Steve “Lips” Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner and bassist Sal Italiano.

The Canadian Brass quintet was formed in 1970 as the Canadian Brass Ensemble, consisting of Stuart Laughton and William Phillips, trumpets, Graeme Page, French horn, Eugene Watts, trombone, and Charles Daellenbach, tuba. In 1971 the group became Canadian Brass and Ronald Romm replaced Laughton.
