Thelma Wilson (b Guttormson). Pianist, teacher, b Winnipeg, of Icelandic parents, 12 Apr 1919; ATCM 1935, LRSM 1935. She studied in Winnipeg with Louise McDowell and Leonard Heaton and developed a busy career as a solo performer, accompanist, and teacher.

Thelma Wilson (b Guttormson). Pianist, teacher, b Winnipeg, of Icelandic parents, 12 Apr 1919; ATCM 1935, LRSM 1935. She studied in Winnipeg with Louise McDowell and Leonard Heaton and developed a busy career as a solo performer, accompanist, and teacher. She has given many joint recitals with her husband, J. Kerr, and with her sons Eric (in Switzerland in 1971, in Iceland in 1976, and in CBC and other recitals in Vancouver) and Carlisle, and has accompanied many other Winnipeg musicians. She was president of the Junior Musical Club of Winnipeg 1947-9, the Wednesday Morning Musicale 1968-9, and the CFMTA 1975-9. She has been an examiner for the WBM for many years and from 1953 has adjudicated music festivals across Canada.
